There are 20 service plazas conveniently located along the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The plazas are open 24 hours a day and offer a variety of fast food and full service dining options, fuel, public telephones, rest rooms and other amenities. Many locations have gift shops and picnic areas. In addition, there are seasonal outdoor Farmers Markets located at the South Somerset, Sideling Hill, Valley Forge, and Allentown Service Plazas. From early spring to late fall, Turnpike travelers enjoy shopping at these markets which carry Pennsylvania farm products and various craft items.

Welcome Centers also maintain full-service rest area facilities that provide clean restrooms, assorted vending machines, friendly picnic sports and pet areas.
